Helsinki is experiencing a hotel boom with at least six new hotels planned to open in the next few years and several existing hotels undergoing expansion or refurbishment. The city was recently ranked as one of the top European cities of the future (Financial Times fDi Intelligence), and was also acclaimed for its forward planning and thinking.

Sweden’s capital Stockholm has been ranked the eighth most competitive city in the world, and is likely to maintain its ability to attract investment, tourists and workers until 2025, according to a new global study. (Citigroup by the Economist Intelligence Unit)

Oslo – Norway’s largest city – is Europe’s fastest-growing capital and it is undergoing its biggest and most controversial makeover since the 17th Century. The city isn’t just about fish and oil anymore and Oslo is becoming an architectural superpower and a destination for culture and business.

Denmark jumps to second place and gets AAA score in World Energy Council energy sustainability ranking and again Copenhagen Airport has been voted as the Best Airport in Northern Europe (Skytrax)
